Five-star service from Floral Boutique in Hucknall, Notts - the funeral spray I ordered exceeded my expectations, all requested details were dealt with perfectly. And it was very good value for money compared with similar items offered by the industry's "big boys". HOWEVER I found the online order form to be substandard (I guess this is out of the control of the florist so I have not knocked off any stars). I found the online form difficult, time-consuming and ultimately infuriating to deal with. It consists of 3 pages, It would have been very useful to be able to view all the pages in advance to see what details were being requested on each page, to avoid duplication and/or omissions, and further complications as detailed below. As it was, I could not advance to Page 2 until Page 1 had been completed, and Page 1 included a free-format entry field labelled "special requests" so I filled it in at length with every detail I could think of, regarding having my flowers delivered on time to our funeral directors. Then, I moved on to Page 2 - this comprised a whole page of compulsory delivery input fields. Of course I had provided all of this info on Page 1 but I had to repeat it on Page 2. (I think I had a similar issue moving on from Page 2 to Page 3 but I can't remember the specifics). Anyway after completing the form I foolishly decided to revisit Page 1 to tidy up the "special request" section and I deleted all the stuff I had prematurely entered, and which I had now entered on Pages 2/3. But then I discovered that Pages 2/3 had reverted to blank and I had to re-enter it all again. Then, going to my Basket I could see that my order was duplicated, presumably each with a different version of the "special requests". At this stage, 45mins had elapsed since starting, and not knowing which version to delete without being caught in the loop again, I scrapped the whole lot and started from scratch. This was fairly easy to do now that I understood what questions were asked on each page. All done in just under 1 hour - but what a hassle! Personally I would recommend the following:- 1) Because of the complexity of floral orders, the whole of the form (maybe excepting the payment page) should be viewable at one go. 2) For floral tributes to be sent to Undertakers only, there needs to be a dedicated section requesting:- a) name, address, contact details of the Undertakers for delivery; b) full name of the deceased (so that the Undertakers send the flowers to the correct funeral). c) date, time and location of the funeral service (so that the florist knows that an early morning delivery to the Undertaker is required in time for a funeral service (say) at 10:00am 20 miles away). These honest comments are given in good faith in accordance with your request.

Easy to order and flowers delivered on time. Recipient was really pleased with them.
